The American River Folk Society
The American River Folk Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the education and presentation of contemporary, traditional and multi-cultural folk music, folklore and folk dance in the Sierra Foothills centered around the Georgetown Divide area.
As the owner of the KFOK Radio license, The American River Folk Society feels that a local community radio station helps further these goals. ARFS also feels that it is important to open this communication avenue to the entire community so that our radio programming will broaden the quality of life on the Georgetown Divide.
