The American River Folk Society
The American River Folk Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the education and presentation of contemporary, traditional and multicultural folk music, folklore, and folk dance in the Sierra foothills centered around the Georgetown Divide.

As the owner of the KFOK Community Radio license, the American River Folk Society believes that operating a community radio station helps further these goals. ARFS also believes that it is important to make this resource available to the entire community so that our radio programming will broaden the quality of life on the Georgetown Divide.
