HOW YOU CAN HELP KFOK COMMUNITY RADIO
KFOK is a all-volunteer organization with no paid personel. All donated funds go directly to operational costs and since we are a non-profit all donations are tax deductible.
BECOME A MEMBER- Any donation is greatly appreciated.... Membership are available starting at $25.
BECOME A BUSINESS UNDERWRITER- Local business can support us by taking advantage of our underwriting opportunities that will get your business mentioned on air on a weekly basis.
BECOME A BROADCASTER- We still have plenty of time during the day and during the early morning hours that needs to be filled so there are lots of opportunities available for you to try your hand at being a broadcaster.
FUNDRAISING FOR THE ANTENNA MOVE PROJECT (AMP) - Through the generous donations of our communtiy we have raised more than half of the construction costs of installing our equipment on the new cell tower on Hotchkiss Hill. Our projected cost, however, are aproximately $18,000 and we still hope to raise an additional $10,000 in the next 3 months so that we have all our finances in place when we begin construction this spring. The line of site provided by the move to the new location should quadruple our listening audience. Any donation is greatly appreciated but why not be a major doner.... it will only take ten one thousand dollar checks to make this happen and we just recieved our first... only nine more to go! JOIN A COMMITTEE.... In addition to your financial support we need folks to serve on our various committees and we need help in any of these areas: fund raising, community and public relations, equipment maintenance and operation, programming, community events, database management, secretary to keep minutes of the meetings, newsletter & program guide, web site design and maintenance, printing, grant writing, youth interests, office skills, community and county connections and almost anything else you can think of........
