BUSINESS UNDERWRITING OPPORTUNITIES

KFOK is a non-profit community radio station and much of our funding comes from financial contributions by the business community. When your organization or business underwrites KFOK programming, you help support an important community resource and cultural asset while providing yourself with a unique marketing tool at the same time. Some of the obvious benefits are:

1. An association with KFOK Community Radio programming strengthens public perception of your commitment to the community.
2. By fostering improvements and broadcast expansion at KFOK through underwriting, you directly increase the listening audience and potential target market for your goods and services.
3. Underwriters are mentioned regularly on the air with our thanks for your support. We mention your name, address, contact information and the goods and services that you provide.
4. An opportunity to reach a targeted audience based on the wide variety of formats for individual shows, underwriting options can include sponsorship of specialty programs such as jazz, blues, Christian, gardening, children, etc.

Currently, our Special Quarterly Rates that are just too good to pass up. At this time we are happy to be able to offer 13 weeks (3 months) of underwriting for a minimum of 2 hours of programming a week, which means more than 52 on-air announcements for your business for the low rate of $95.10 but there is more...

At this time we only have one underwriter per hour of KFOK radio programming and current underwriters get 4 times as many on-air mentions as stated in the contract so your cost per mention is actually just pennies apiece. Eventually we plan to have two or three underwriters per hour of programming but we expect that local businesses will be able to keep the underwriting spotlight with just one underwriter at a time for the next few months. We also plan to put your business listing on our Web Site and if you would like a link for your Web Site we will be happy to include it.

As you can see our current quarterly package is an incredibly easy way to gain community exposure while supporting this vibrant new community radio station.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?...
Speak with your favorite KFOK Broadcaster. He/she will help you and give you any additional information you might need. Then, just download and complete the UNDERWRITING AGREEMENT below, attach your check and get it to us. Please allow 1-4 weeks for KFOK to process your underwriting agreement and get your announcement on-air. Underwriting on-air announcements are updated monthly. We will send you a renewal reminder so you can continue your support. You contribution is greatly appreciated.
